All products from ALFAFLEX, ALFAPLUS, ® and ALFATWIN made of PVC ARE NOT compatible with POLYCARBONATE (PC) and METH-ACRYLATE (PMMA).
The duration in time of these products is conditioned by the conditions of usage, such as the temperature and the exposure (UV rays, acid rain). All products made of PVC are for internal usage, in normal conditions their durability can be more than 7-8 years.

The coefficient of linear expansion for the products in PVC is of approximately 5.5 * 10-5*K-1. The shrinkage in time of the products is conditioned by the hardness of the product, by its shape (thickness etc.) and temperature of usage, but normally it is around 0.5 - 1% of the product dimension.
For these types of product, it is advisable a suitable condition of stocking in the warehouse. Particular attention is necessary for soft and co-extruded soft products, avoiding to turn over the packs received, to stack an excessive number of packs (not more than those received) and avoiding to stack other weights on top.
The stocking should be done in a dry place inside a warehouse.

All products from ALFAPRENE, ALFAEPDM, ABS and ALFASAN ARE compatible with POLYCARBONATE (PC) and METH-ACRYLATE (PMMA).
Concerning the general characteristics, these products are considered better than PVC products, as durability is greater and the shrinkage is smaller. Naturally these properties are always conditioned by the conditions of usage, dimensions etc.. but in a less significant way.
The stocking conditions mentioned previously, even if valid for all products, are less indispensable but always recommended.
